Youth Partners

Youth Partners, a leading partnership of youth care institutions, is ready every day to protect vulnerable children and young people throughout the Netherlands. Together, they are committed to protecting children and young people without a safe or healthy home situation.

The question

Updated work at the website

The existing “Working at” website no longer met the growing needs and ambitions of Partners for Youth. The opportunities and opportunities within the organization were underexplored, specific vacancies were difficult to find and the culture could come out more prominent.

The challenge was clear:

  1. Create a completely renewed user-friendly “working at” platform that better presents the many vacancies in a clear way;
  2. and embraces the new corporate identity;
  3. and vividly reflects the company culture.

Ready. Set. Gosh!

Discovery phase

Effectgroep* threw themselves into the assignment with enthusiasm, starting with a thorough discovery phase to get all the necessary information on the table. Interactive wireframes were then created, an important step in clarifying the intended functionalities and visitor experience. Measuring is and will always be knowing.

The last step in the discovery phase was presenting the design. This gave all stakeholders the opportunity to jointly determine whether the design fit the identity of Partners for Youth.

Solution

Let's get down to business

After an enthusiastic YES on the visual designs, it was time for implementation.

A crucial aspect of the renewed “Working at” website is the vacancy section. Visitors are quickly directed to jobs that match their profile and are presented with streamlined search functionality. This search option, with the most used filters, is prominent on every page.

Partners for Youth and its subsidiaries offer a range of vacancies in various fields. To highlight this diversity, specific pages have been developed for each category. Here we delve deeper into the specific features and benefits, culture and growth opportunities.

We also improved the Meet & Greet functionality. Previously understudied, now strategically positioned in navigation. So that visitors come into contact with the organization in an accessible way.

Outcome

Digital triumph

The results speak for themselves. Or, as the client himself said, “to get through a ring”. Visually and functionally powerful. The 'Meet & Greet' gets the attention it deserves, and the vacancy search has been simplified by smart filters. The diversity of vacancies is clearly presented, and the seamless connection with the ATS system ensures an efficient organization of applicants. In short, a digital triumph that meets the expectations of Partners for Youth and offers visitors a streamlined and meaningful experience!
